Perimenopause & menopause care designed around you
Feeling like yourself is possible again
Menopause is a natural stage in a woman’s life, marking the end of menstrual cycles. However, the transition can be physically and emotionally challenging.
The years leading up to menopause, known as perimenopause, can bring fluctuating hormone levels and a wide variety of symptoms - some subtle, others life-changing.
Many women are unaware that what they are experiencing is related to menopause. This can lead to confusion, frustration, and even misdiagnosis.
At Jaya Life, our goal is to support you in understanding and make sense of what you’re experiencing, explain your options clearly, and create a care plan that truly fits your life.
Recognising the signs of perimenopause & menopause
Menopause and perimenopause symptoms vary greatly from woman to woman. You might notice:
Foggy thinking or difficulty concentrating.
Hot flushes and unexpected sweating.
Poor sleep or waking in the night.
Mood swings, anxiety, or feeling low.
Fatigue or a sense of “running on empty”.
Migraines or worsening headaches.
Vaginal dryness or discomfort during intimacy.
Reduced libido.
Joint or muscle aches and pains such as tennis elbow/ frozen shoulder.
Changes to your periods, including irregularity or lighter or heavier bleeding.
You don’t need to have all of these, even a few can affect your quality of life. If you recognise these symptoms, it may be time to explore specialist menopause care. As these symptoms are real, valid, and treatable.
Why specialist menopause care matters
Many women tell us they’ve felt unheard or dismissed elsewhere, or they’ve been offered quick fixes that don’t address their full picture of health.
With nearly 20 years’ experience as a GP (and having gone “through” the menopause herself), Dr Lucy Mather understands the complex interplay of hormones, lifestyle, and long-term health.
She follows the latest up to date guidance, ensuring that every recommendation is safe, evidence-based, and tailored to you.
Our consultations are longer and more comprehensive than your typical appointment, giving you the time and space to discuss everything you’ve been feeling.
