Women’s health MOT

Proactive, personal, preventative care.

A Women’s Health MOT with Jaya Life gives a complete, personalised review of your health and wellbeing. It’s a chance to gain a clear, comprehensive picture of your health today,  and put in place a plan to help you feel your best now and in the years ahead.

At Jaya Life, we believe prevention is the most powerful form of care. This is about understanding your unique body and helping you make confident, informed choices for your future wellbeing.

What every woman should keep an eye on

Many of the most common health concerns affecting women can develop quietly over time. Detecting them early can make all the difference, yet day-to-day life often leaves little space for thorough checks or joined-up advice.

Key areas to be aware of include:

  • Heart health – early lifestyle checks can protect your heart

  • Thyroid – affects energy, weight, and mood

  • Bone strength – early checks help identify future fracture risk

  • Cancer screening – keep up with breast, cervical, and bowel checks (available through the NHS)

  • (PRE) Diabetes – prevent/reverse or diagnose it early to prevent complications

  • Mental wellbeing – sleep, stress, and mood matter for overall health

  • Contraceptive review – to ensure your current method and prescription remain the best option for you

A Women’s Health MOT helps you understand your personal risk factors, spot early signs of imbalance, and take practical steps to prevent small issues from becoming larger health challenges.

If you are experiencing one or more of these issues, our specialist consultations can help you understand the cause and develop a personalised care plan.

Why a women’s health MOT matters

Your health is unique. Too often, standard health checks take a one-size-fits-all approach. At Jaya Life, we see you as a whole person. With over 20 years’ experience in Women’s Health, Dr Mather combines medical rigour with genuine care and attention. Consultations allow time to listen, explore your full picture of health, and answer all your questions.

Every recommendation is personalised, evidence-based, and focused on helping you live your healthiest, most resilient life.

Dr Lucy Mather is British Menopause Society Registered Menopause Specialist who has almost 20 years’ experience as a GP in NHS and in private practice, supporting many women.

She knows how important it is to offer bespoke, personal care and ensure continuity of care.

Her approach follows the latest NICE and British Menopause Society (BMS) guidelines, ensuring that every decision is safe, evidence-based, and completely tailored to you.

With longer consultations than typical appointments, there’s time to explore your health concerns in depth, creating space for clear answers and a plan that supports both your immediate and long-term wellbeing.
