Free Menopause Support & Advice at the Gwynedd and Anglesey Netball League
Women across Gwynedd and Anglesey are invited to drop into our free information stand designed to help you stay active throughout perimenopause and menopause.
Come along to learn, ask questions, and share experiences in a safe, friendly space. Gain practical advice on:
Understanding peri/menopause symptoms
How hormone changes affect your body
Treatment options (including HRT)
Lifestyle support to boost strength, sleep and overall wellbeing
Tips to stay active in sport, fitness and everyday life
You’ll have the chance to talk one-to-one with Dr Lucy Mather, NHS GP and BMS Registered Menopause Specialist at Pennant Private Medical Services, Caernarfon.
Why attend?
Research from Women in Sport shows that 3 in 10 women become less active during menopause, often due to symptoms such as:
Joint and muscle pain
Tiredness and low energy
Poor sleep
Hot flushes
Urinary incontinence
But stopping activity at this stage can have long-term effects on strength, mobility, and wellbeing. With the right support, you can stay active and feel better for it.
Your Health Matters
Whether you're a player, coach, supporter or simply curious and live in the area, we’re here to help you feel confident, informed and empowered through this life stage.
Drop in at any time. Come along, say hello, and take the first step toward feeling stronger and more supported.
